A message from Sandra and Brett

Kia ora e te whānau a te Karaiti,

Ngā mihi o te tau hou, Happy New Year to you all. We hope you had a relaxing Christmas break and a great start to the new year.

We are thrilled to be back in action and are excited to see what God has planned for our faith community this year.

In this week’s edition of the Bridge you’ll find a couple of important notices, a recording of Brett’s sermon from last Sunday, and a link to an interesting article that connects the journey of the Magi with the Jan 6 2021 Capitol Riots.

We look forward to seeing you at worship this Sunday.

Sandra and Brett
Minister and Ministry Intern.

Worship this Sunday, 10am

Please join Brett this Sunday as we reflect on how God’s glory is revealed in Jesus in the Wedding at Cana.

If you would like to read the scriptures before coming, please look at: John 2:1-11.

Didn’t make it to the service last week?

If you missed last week's service, below is the sermon for you to listen to at your own convenience.

“Inspiration drawn from the Journey of the Magi,” an article.

Inspiration drawn from the Journey of the Magi” is an article published in the Otago Daily Times by lecturer in chaplaincy at Otago University, Rev. Dr. Graham Redding. It draws on what we might learn about events that took place at the United States Capitol in January, 2021 in light of the journey of the Magi.
